This website sets cookies only if you accept analytics. The game uses your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device, for the features listed below. They are needed for things you ask the game to do, so they don’t need your consent.

What the game stores in your browser

veyltak.learning.v1: Your training milestones, unfinished exercise, hints, recent local learning record and guest-backup restore point. If you opt into the learning study, also its consent and access token. Local learning data stays until you clear site data. Study sharing stops when you withdraw consent; the server record expires after 90 days.

veyltak.journey.v1: Your guest deck, campaign records, featured scores, card mastery and three-heist run. Kept until you clear site data.

veyltak.play.v1: Your game in progress, so a reload doesn’t lose it. Kept until the game ends or you clear site data.

veyltak.rival: The rival and level you picked last. Kept until you clear site data.

veyltak.coached: Remembers that you have seen the first-game tips. Kept until you clear site data.

veyltak.lang: Your language choice. Kept until you clear site data.

veyltak.muted: Whether sound is on or off. Kept until you clear site data.

veyltak.token: Your sign-in session, saved only after you sign in or create an account, so you stay signed in. Kept until you sign out; the session itself expires after 30 days.

veyltak.daily.v1: If you play the daily heist without an account: the keys to your runs on our server, so you can finish, share or add them to an account, and your guest streak. Kept until you clear site data. A guest run nobody adds to an account is deleted from our server 30 days after it finished or its challenge link was last opened, whichever is later, and never kept more than 60 days after it finished.

You can remove all of these by clearing this site’s data in your browser. The game still works without them, but it forgets your choices when you close the page.

Analytics, only if you agree

A banner asks the first time you visit, and nothing from Google loads until you accept. Your choice is remembered in your browser. If you accept, Google Analytics sets these cookies:

veyltak.consent.v1: Local storage that remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics. Kept for 12 months, then we ask again.

_ga: Tells one visitor apart from another, without knowing who you are. Kept for 2 years.

_ga_ followed by an ID: Keeps track of the current visit. Kept for 2 years.

Change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page. If you reject after accepting, we delete these cookies.

Payments

When you buy something, checkout happens on our payment processor’s page. The processor may set its own cookies there to take the payment and prevent fraud, under its own cookie policy.
