Payments and Identity Checks
Our know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money-laundering (AML) policy: who can buy, the limits, and when we check identity.
The company that runs VEYLTAK has not published its legal name, registration number and registered address yet. They will appear on the Company details page, and this notice will go, before the store opens.
The store is not open yet and takes no payments. This page sets out the rules that will apply when it opens.
Who takes the payment
Payments are taken by a payment processor, named on this page before the store opens. It screens payments against sanctions lists and requires strong authentication, such as 3-D Secure, where your bank supports it. We never see or store your full card number.
Who can buy
You must be 18 or older and have a verified email address. We ask you to confirm your age at your first purchase and may ask for proof when something doesn’t add up. We don’t sell to people or places under United Nations, European Union, United Kingdom or United States sanctions.
Spending limits
You can set a monthly spending limit on your account. Lowering it takes effect straight away; raising it takes effect after 24 hours.
In the first 24 hours after you create an account, you can spend at most 100 in your billing currency. A single order can be at most 5,000.
Identity checks
Before we complete a single order of 1,000 or more, or orders totalling 2,500 or more within 30 days, you need to verify your identity through our payment processor or its identity partner. We may also ask for a check when payments look unusual.
We keep the result of the check (passed or not, the date and a reference). Your documents stay with the verification provider.
What we never allow
Crowns and items can’t be cashed out, sold, traded or moved to another account. You can’t buy on someone else’s behalf in exchange for payment, sell or buy accounts, or pay with a card or account that isn’t yours.
If something is wrong
We may hold an order, refund it to the payment method it came from, pause store access or close the account. Where the law requires, we report suspicious activity to the authorities, and the law may not allow us to tell you.
Records
We keep payment and identity check records for as long as anti-money-laundering law requires, usually 5 years after your account closes. The Privacy Policy explains how we protect them.
